Gribsy Home fire is an act of arson.

The verb that is used in the introduction is "damaged" referring to the Grisby House on the campus of Lyon College.

The main idea that the author is tring to tell in the introduction to the artical is the damage caused by fire to the Grisby House on the college campus of Lyon College was most definatlly an act of arson.

The 19th century log cabin know as the Grisby House was damaged by fire and is belived to be an act of arson. Independence County Sheriff's Deputy Patrick Collins responed to the report around midnight and early Monday morning. He found the fire department fighting the blaze coming from the center of the cabin.

Batesville Fire Cheif Brent Gleghorn said there was no reason for the log cabin to be set fire besides arson do to the fact that the cabin has no utilitys.

The fire was set toward the north entrance in a corner of a locked room. Out side there was a fire pit with still glowing coals in it suspection some kind of gathering but way to far away to be the cause of the blaze.

This remids me of when our home burnt to the ground in Omaha Arkansas in 2003. The reason our home burnt was do to sombody setting fire to the entire house with gasoline.

There is an ongoing investigation of the blaze and if any information is know please contact the Independence County Sheriff's Department at (870) 793-8838.
